LOS ANGELES IMMERSION WEEKEND // August 25 - 27
It's Emmy time and time for us to bring new writers together with producers and agents with an emphasis on television writing.
Join us for three days of meetings, panels, pitch sessions, script consultations, coaching, and glamour. We suggest you arrive in LA on Thursday, August 24. The events begin Friday morning.
Friday all day, we will meet on the lot at UNIVERSAL with our speakers for panel discussions and private breakout meetings. As always, the guest list will be firmed up in the weeks before the event as these execs are very busy people.
Friday night is free time for you to enjoy and explore fabulous Hollywood, CA on your own or with your new friends.
Saturday we will meet on the lot at WARNER BROS. for discussions, meetings and networking. Time will also be allowed for private script consultations with Dan Decker, author of "Anatomy of a Screenplay," if you want to test your ideas against an honest listener for some tough love feedback.
Saturday night is free again for you to relax, regroup, or attend the big-time events going on around LA that night.
Sunday is the big day: The 58th Annual Emmy Award Show at the Shrine Auditorium. This is a black tie event, so pack your Sunday best. You can sleep in and take a morning brunch. The group will leave for the Auditorium around 2pm. At the Award Show, you will see the red carpet activities and maybe even have a chance to talk to your favorite TV stars, producers, and writers. The event goes on all evening, so wear comfortable shoes.
The weekend event will end after the show.
